I decided it was time to upgrade from the chunk-o-plywood I had been using as a pedal board. I just finished building the replacement, and want to show it off.
This is what I built:
The bottom level can hold a wah pedal, and maybe two rows of pedals. It is two feet wide. I made it out of poplar, and used a tung oil finish. It was pretty easy and inexpensive, and is much nicer than what I had.
I'm going to post the plans this weekend at my neglected pedal blog.

Great board. I really need a multi-tier board. You have official inspired me. Thanks!

Thanks! It was really easy. When I saw that they sell the slats pre-cut at Home Depot for $0.98 each, I had to build one.
I did a pictorial write-up, in case anyone is thinking about building their own pedal board:

Dude, that looks great multi tiered stuff is the best only issue I have ever had with the DIY boards is getting a case for them

Truth. Best thought I have is have a thrift-store suitcase or hard briefcase picked out and size the project accordingly.

Nice! Simple and very functional - routing looks like it would be a breeze. The wood looks great too. I made a small board a while back and but I tolexed it. I might have to do another one in hardwood.
