the agency in San Jose which e-mailed me last week about a possible position there wrote me today and said that they're working on setting up a phone interview for me with the employer. they've sent my resume over--the only one they're submitting!--and the employer thinks i'm "a good candidate." if i don't fuck this up, i could be back in California in a few weeks. YEAH LIFE IS STRANGE

Sweet! Hope that pans out.
I got a phone interview too, and it's for a job I really want! Hope I don't screw it up, I've never really done an interview before and over the phone might be weird?
i found that phone interviews work much better when i use the speakerphone setting on the telephone...there's a certain weirdness about having long detailed discussions on a handset, and i've found that the speakerphone is more like sitting in the room talking to the interviewer.

So I got to paint a mural in the place I've played all my noise shows over the last couple-ish years....I love it. The space is kind of a venue/art gallery/do whatever community art-related thing you want sort of place. What I really love is that the first picture I see of it online is when they get our state senator to come and talk about small business, art business, etc, and it's right behind him
