I figured it was something like that, haha. I have to say, it is awesome having a MV amp. At first I was kinda of against it, but I still find it useful with an amp that pretty much will only break up from the power tubes (I have the same head). It can get pretty dang loud just through a 1x12, too!

You've played it through bigger cabs, yeah? How noticeable of a difference is it playing a 20 watt head vs a 100 watt one through say a 4 or 2x12? Or I could ask you how does it compare volume wise to the Peavey you used to have through that Verellen cab you got there?

Yeah dude. This head is fucking amazing.

I played it once through Ancient Astronaut's 6x12. It was on 2 and shaking his house. I played it through a 2x12 of his and it was still loud as hell. With the 1x12 I have it's still really loud if I want it to be, but there comes a point where you can only get so loud with 1 speaker.

Case in point, I ran the Sunn 60 watter and Peavey 120 watter through the same cab. They were both equally as loud, the Peavey just had more headroom. And honestly, the Verellen can get about half (or more) as loud as the Peavy could through the cab. I'd like to add another 1x12 or 1x15 eventually, but only when I have a house or something to be stupid in. For now, it's working out alright!

Because she's a female or because she likes to cook?
