Re: Strymon Mobius clips - STRYMON BONER SQUAD ASSEMBLE!
Yep. It's been confirmed by Strymon. No control over the sweep. I haven't lost hope, though. Like Schnikes said, it's a cool thing and I bet it's in the first update......IF enough people contact them saying it would be cool to have. So please do that.
Otherwise, the pedal doesn't push my Faye Sing off the board but it DOES replace enough other stuff to justify keeping it......now I have to decide on the Faye Sing.....

Idle thought as I don't see myself ever buying one, but filter stacked with Detune is a prime usage candidate for me, so even if the Mobius can/could double what a Xerograph could do, it couldn't replace all filters and Mod for me.

Do you use more than one patch at once?

Re: Strymon Mobius clips - STRYMON BONER SQUAD ASSEMBLE!
Looks like fun, as was the Timeline, but too much in one place for me.
I ditched the Timeline cause it was way more flavors of delay than I ever need (I'm a simple boy when it comes to repetitive noise), but the looper was aight.
The Mobius would be more useful to me in a studio, but I STACK MODULATION, there, I said it...
Filter into Ring Mod into Phaser into Chorus? Um... yes, duh. What am I, the bass/guitar player from Roadhouse?
Also, since the filter is first in the chain on the guitar board, and I have several effects between it and the next modulation, the Mobius would be impracticable for live use, for me. Again, for me, always, for me, me, me.
So, again, for me, if I could not only stack the effects within the Mobius, but also put them anywhere in the chain I prefer, then it would be an uber useful effect. Until then, I'll keep shopping for a relay/loop/effects order switcher and be happy in the knowledge that I have the best (for me) individual modulation effects available anywhere on my board and stacked any way I like.
It reminds me of the M5/M9/M13 thingies, good for playing around with effects noise until you find the ones you like and go out and buy individual and unique effects by different manufactures that are individually made to be the most awesome of their kind, like I'm already doing now.
Still, if I could actually afford to own effects I kinda use sometimes maybe, then I'd buy one of these today, just cause it looks like a shit-ton o' fun!

this turned out to be a major function of my PodXT, though i still use it for certain things. it was really helpful in concentrating my amp search as well as clarifying just which of the common modulation effects i like.
