Haha I didn't mean to be too cryptic there with my plans... but I really do love the pizza restaurant idea... it would be the best and worst thing that ever happened to me, a dream come true and the cause of my death... what a way to go though!

My main goal for 2013 is to make one or more cool digital effects with the Spin FV-1. I've got the dev board set up on a bread board and I've been learning the code.. I'll go into it more in a new thread soon but it's a cool chip that a lot of cool pedals have been built around lately and I'm excited to do something cool with it too.

Nice Ryan! Sounds like quite the undertaking, code and chips and learning code and such........

Along the lines of the RRR-style design or is the FV-1 like a wide open platform to program as you wish for a multitude of sounds? What are some pedals using it currently, think I read the EHX Holy Stain was one of the few commercially available examples? I also know it's used in synth modules with great success.

Buddy, dig in and put your thinking cap on tight and that should result in pure awesomeness! Excited to hear your ideas.

Rainbow Machine uses the FV-1.... I think.... A lot of the Z.cat stuff. And the EHX of course.

Organizer, Rainbow Machine, Iron Ether uses it, Jack DeVille's new pedals, CB Echorec, it's a powerful chip that's able to do basically any audio processing imaginable. You can have 8 patches, or just one, and it's stereo in and out.

I'm planning on starting with some stereo digital distortion/fuzz...

I think my new delay pedal will use the Spin too...

And a new reverb...

All in stereo, all custom, analog dry paths, clean blends, it's gonna be so fun...

Nah that's ok, as long as you're definitely still interested I'll have your pedal for when you're ready.

this is good news :)

Looks like a 1590BB which would make it 4.67" x 3.68" x 1.18"
