Unfortunately I had to raise the price a bit since it was first published as our manufacturing and parts cost has raised considerably over the years.

Just FYI the Prymaxe video says its $135, so there may have been a communication breakdown somewhere along the line with them... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s35DYh14 ... e=g-subs-u

Yeah, same for Fat Tone Guitars

Sounds like this might stack well with the Dream Crusher.......

It has been my experience that germanium devices tend to stack well with each other, like they're recognizing family.

Got #75 in the mail today!

Only had 5 minutes to play with it, but great tone out of the box with everything set at 12 o''clock and using an SG with P-90's.

First impressions: shares some of the best qualities of the Speaker Cranker and Dream Crusher; tone control is very subtle and doesn't have a whole lot of range, but if the pedal is already well-voiced...; more impressions to come... :)

Just got my own crimson drive, #109, its sounds amazing on its own, and just unbelieveable when stacked with my tone reaper.... Love it already :D

How's the tone control on yours?

I haven't tried stacking it yet with either the Speaker Cranker or Dream Crusher, but I imagine it'll be cool. This seems like it could be another "leave it on all the time" pedal. I immediately started copping some Faces licks once I fired it up :yay:

Tone control works fine, why have there been problems ive not heard about? Its a pretty subtle change, but thers definetly a trebely bite when its fully clockwise

Kudos.
I didn't hear the Faces on the demo, maybe I need to revisit this one... :erm:

No issues, just trying to confirm that the tone control has a somewhat narrow range. Thanks!

I think some of the demos tend to focus on the treble-y end of this pedal, which it definitely has, but..... Using P-90's or the neck pickup on a Strat, maybe dialing back the volume and tone controls a bit and going into a tube amp, I was definitely able to get some 70's raunch. There may be other OD's out there that come closer to getting that sound, but those were the riffs I was inspired to play once I dialed things in a bit. YMMV :)

Im running it on my neck humbuker on (you guessed it) my Flying V, so its nice and bassy, but having the tone pretty high stops it from getting muddy
