I'm pretty sure they are not trying to play Nirvana songs, most info I read on it was that Dave asked Paul to jam with them and they made some songs to play for the benefit. :idk:

the broadcast is on in the background while i edit Grateful Dead concert discs. no Paul 'n' Grohl yet. things have been pretty bland so far. Bon Jovi didn't suck, the Stones fell flat--it was a mistake to open with "You Got Me Rockin'" and their tempos dragged--but they were real at least rather than the all-too-perfect Clapton tunes or Alicia Keys, who was unbearable. so far The Who--or as we call then on the GD board, "The Two"--seem to be the hit of the night so far, with the inevitable "Who Are You" followed by "Bell Boy" (!).

Yeah it was a lot better than I expected, McCartneys voice is holding up a lot better than i've previously seen him on shows recently.

I'll be damned. That was actually pretty cool  Sounds almost like a Them Crooked Vultures track with the slide-y cigar box dobro thing.
