I want a Digital Doom Fuzz
Something that has insane lows (Subs), chunky low/mids, and sizzling highs.
I think if it was three bands, it would be awesome. It would allow for good clarity, and more flexibility.
Think Jesu/Nadja tone. Kinda synthy/sizzly/industrial sounding.
So 4 knobs, Subs/Mids/Highs/Volume. Maybe five for overall gain. But the SMH can work similarly to the Driving Notion, where you can crank the gain and presence of each drive portion. Someone make this happen... Please.

The first one I thought of when reading this is the Zoom Tri Metal. It has everything you mentioned with insane lows.

I watched Excanes metal pedal comparison video, and yes, the Zoom Tri Metal sounds soooo evil.

Digitech Death Metal, no mids control but it has everything else your looking for.

Actually after hearing and playing with Skully's Landmine, I'd have to agree.

I think it's digital? Even if it's not, sounds heavy like you're wanting

Hmmm...
What about some sort of sample rate reducer/Bit Crusher with EQing abilities?
I LOVED the digital nastiness of the WSOU, but wanted more EQing options.

You can do fuzz with the FrantaBit.

Re: I want a Digital Doom Fuzz
Don't laugh but I use to get that sound with a DOD Super American Metal. I have one but it only gets hooked up for the chuug chuug sound when needed. The Danelectro Fabtone will also pull that off.
Nice part is they are both dirt cheap on eBay to give them a try.
