I don't really see a need for one, there's already enough out in the market
I'd rather them focus their efforts on their continuous release of badass pedals like whoa.

And there are enough ods, delays and fuzzboxes out there. So why is there no single boutique builder making a tuner?

Yeah EQD have a Product line as broad as some bigger companies, but they only do cool stuff with awesome grafics. So ett not a tuner so we dont have to use ugly ass tu-2 or pitch black.

not really a valid argument as builders can tweak their respective builds to give them a 'competitive edge' or a uniqueness you'd only find from a certain builder. Be it mojoz parts, graphics, hand made, etc...... Tuners are just....tuners. they can only be so accurate before the ear won't ever be able to distinguish a difference.

Pretty sure I'd pay Jamie to just re-house my TU-2. :hobbes:

i totally do get that - thought last night about dissembling mine just to try dunking it in paint thinner & making it unfinished like my dirge pedals. i just doubt jamie would want to bother with releasing a utility module like a tuner. if i was in his shoes i'd be sticking with making more sonic awesomeness. :animal:

They could make a tuner that sounds really really good! Like a TU-2 but tweaked for a little more headroom and a subtle increase in the upper mids.

Just fuckin around, but surely tuners could be more useful if they had selectable true bypass or buffred bypass and like stereo stereo outs.
But the point i wanted to make is that tuners are fugly and a EQD one would look cool and would prolly have some nice grafics.

I'll leave pedal tuners to the bigger brands like Boss and Korg. Boutique effects are great and all, but getting a pedal tuner from a boutique brand seems like overkill.
