My girlfriend of two years left me on Wednesday last week, as she is not in love with me any more.

It has pretty much flipped my whole world on its head, as I am sure many of you can imagine.

She helped me become such a better man, and I am heartbroken in a way I have never felt (and I've been through a divorce and other break-ups).
Good deals with: PumpkinPieces, maz91379, allicio, nelsinian, tomlane95, casperh7, insubordination, bronzetalon

 We recently had a bunch of medical stuff happen to one of our cats (my little buddy that was always happy and clung to me all the time -- he'd basically become my best friend) and went through this. I'm sorry dude, but I'm glad Major Tom isn't hurting anymore, either. it's amazing what cats do for us (I used to think they were just manipulative jerks.)

You say that like manipulative jerks can't do anything for anyone. We don't appreciate that. but we don't want to admit it.

One of the great things about cats is that when you lose one, another will FIND YOU.
They're all different but I haven't met one yet that I didn't like.

Thanks, it was a rough day but Major Tom is no longer hurting so that is good.

Inconvenience:
I resigned to put the short scale Chromes, that I purchased by accident, on my Mustang.
Turns out, they are too short for my short scale bass.

I LOST THE BIDDING WAR ON A CITY OF CATERPILLAR VINYL.

It was the last 20 minutes and it just blew up. I need their self-titled album.

I hate always being acutely aware of my heart beating. It's better than being aware of it not beating, though. The only time I stop noticing it is if I'm drunk.
The worst is when there's a series of palpitations or whatever where I can feel what seems like every single contraction and expansion of every part of my heart for 30 seconds or so. So I'm squirming the whole time, adopting about a hundred different "idle" poses and trying to not to look too weird instead of hunching over and clutching my chest like an old man, all the while thinking "I'm gonna die listening to this motherfucker talk about gloves".
But then it's okay and there's no damage. Supposedly it's even relatively common, but still...fuck that.

this is so lame
but that feeling
when you leave your board
and box of gear knickknacks
at the practice space
cause it was pouring fuckin rain
in december
and the next day
you wanna rock out
that riff you came up with
and you cant find ONE
as in 1(uno) pick
not one single measly pick
in any pocket
or crevice if your humble home
my girl loves to keep a tidy apt.
god bless her for that
but where are all my fuckin picks
besides at the space where i left them
