Favorite 5 Rock Songs

Post by devideva »

I'll start with

Oh You Pretty Things - Bowie
Danny Bailey - EJ
Dazed and Confused - LZ
Let's Pretend - The Germs
Out of the Blue - Roxy Music

You can do ten if you want. I wouldn't be any closer to the end of my favorties even with ten.
...or something...

They're sort of cliche, but probably these:

Comfortably Numb
Bohemian Rhapsody
Starless
Love, Reign O'er Me
We Can Work it Out

You forgot Spoon Man!!!

Unfortunately i don't listen to much "rock" anymore unless you put "stoner" in front of it.

Hmmmm... innaresting. Mine change daily, but they'd go something like:

1. Motörhead - Louie, Louie
2. Neil Young - Fuckin' Up
3. The Who - The Seeker
4. the Hold Steady - Your Little Hoodrat Friend
5. Arlo - Runaround
6. Boss Martians - I Am Your Radio
7. The Figgs - Regional Hits
8. Superdrag - Keep It Close To Me
9. AC/DC - Jailbreak
10. The Clash - London Calling

The number 1 spot pretty much always stays the same...

I like you! Those other songs are probably good too I just haven't heard any of them.

My list for today is (in no particular order)

1. Cowgirl in the Sand - Neil Young & Crazy Horse
2. Jesus Christ Pose - Soundgarden
3. Constructive Summer - The Hold Steady
4. Working Man - Rush
5. God is in the Radio - QOTSA

Cowgirl is definitely always in the top 5, the others change depending on how I'm feeling, but all those bands have a whole bunch of songs that qualify.

I played in a band that covered it as Reverse Cowgirl in The Sand.

It was, how do you say, Très bon.
