In my case, paypal was being an ass so I had to call and order direct with my card.
That's not what it did for me, it charged me the whole shebang. I had to put it on credit card for now. Oh we'll, ill just pay the card off when i sell off everything else.

Not a bad price considering the amount of sounds you get. That's assuming they all sound good of course...
The Timeline catches some shit for being overpriced with too many delays/options ppl don't need or want but that pedal rules and does far more than delay. Tons of noise settings plus trem plus fantastic looper, perfect for anyone who liked the DL4. The Mobius has an even wider range of base sounds, fuck, sell a few pedals and funding is complete. Probably gonna rule but that lack of stacking thing is turning me off.
Still, it's not like I'd sell ALL mod and buy this thing and then I'm fucked on running multiple effects. I'd sell a few things just laying around and add it to the rest. I saw someone mention size as well and not wanting to part with the board space. If it's the size of a TL, that's a miniscule amount of space considering all the options that thing sports.
Onto cosmetics. Ya know, I've never been blown away by Strymon's looks but I didn't think they were shit either. I like anodized enclosures and the colors were pretty interesting. The TL actually looks killer with that charcoal grey, slick and utilitarian. The Mobius is different in that it looks plain and boring and almost cheesy/cheap compared to the rest of the lineup. Must be the blue cuz the TL is almost identical in appearance beyond that...
y'all are ridiculous. why do you need to stack this shit? each effect has so many parameters it'd be like having 3 effects on at once anyway, especially the quad and destroyer modes.

Haha, yeah stacking modulation is kinda overkill but it's nice to have the option. I like to run El Cap -> Rainbow Machine -> Memory Boy -> Stereo Pulsar -> reverse setting on SMMWH. The noises that ensue aren't really practical but it's helluva fun to mess around with. Throw the Organizer in front for even more weirdness. But back on topic... realistically who stacks modulation when laying down tracks or playing live, that is the question; if the Mobius makes those people happy, and they move lots of units, mission accomplished.

All I keep thinking about is IBM when I see the enclosure. Big Blue.
FUCK those Strymon demos! I've been avoiding this one but that Filter and Destroyer and Quadrature and Vibe and Rotary and Autoswell sound stunning. So does the rest but I'm beyond good on phaser, flanger, trem, and chorus tho. Bit crusher too really.
Regardless, I'm currently in the starting to WANT phase, GAS ignition commencing quickly.......damn it!
I agree on the stacking thing. I get the chorus....but who the fuck would want to stack a flanger on a trem on a phaser? Oooof. Terrorists. That's who. It's unmercan.

That's right, stacked modulation is the bomb. Or perhaps the Molotov cocktail of the effects world.
Burn, baby, burn. Burn your quaint Western infidel notions of guitar effects into sweet heathen oblivion.

Trem and autoswell sound awesome stacked with just about anything imo, still I guess even if i kept those on my board the Mobius would replace chorus, flange, phaser... Sort of want but the cheapest it's gonna be anywhere in Australia is $500, god damn I hate this country sometimes..
