How do I get this filtering/LFO sound?

Starting around 1:47, how could I get that sound using a fuzz of my choice (I have a fuzz I like. Now comes the second pedlol to accomplish the modulation/lfo dealy)? Some gnarly chorus or something?

Yeah, a speedy chorus or flange before the fuzz would get you close

I don't have much experience with either flange or chorus, but in my VERY limited experience, you could get the old stereo DOD flange to go really fast

I'm not sure with chorus or flanger you're gonna be able to get it to sound quite like that though.
The new SubDecay Starlight DLX should probably get you close, I'd imagine.
The TC Vortex is a much cheaper option and is capable of some pretty wild sounds.

Yeah, I just bought a BF2 because I've wanted one. I don't think it'll sound like that either, but if it sounds remotely like it I'll post some clips.

a phaser in front of a gated fuzz more than a flanger or chorus

MXR M-117. The reissues sound amazing and they go on ebay for way cheaper than new. I got mine for $100 a while back. One of my favorite modulation pedals. I've come back to it time and time again. it's wonderful for the price.
Edit: Now I read through the rest of the post and you already got a flanger! Good for you, they're fun! What's the fuzzy you're gonna use it with???

What fuzz are you gonna use to try to cop this sound, M_B?
I actually think a really saturated fuzz with a flanger set to a triangle wave in addition to a filter is the way to go for this sound. At least close to it anyway.

Swept allpass filter, I don't know what it is! It sounds custom, hence why I ignored you the first time. Haha, sorry. Can you recommend any filters that do what you say?

you could do with a phaser set correctly, probably before the fuzz? it will certainly sound different but it can get you close...

I see, I see. My music doesn't have any slow parts, so I don't have a phaser on hand. I'll have to try one out, and see what I come up with. Thanks, errybody!

also, this. flanger or phaser set right, probably pre-fuzz should be cool.
