DBA is one of those companies that has some really interesting stuff, but every time I think of buying one, someone says something that makes me want nothing to do with them.

It's pretty great. Thinking about adding tap tempo to mine now.
The reason I modded it is because soundwise it's beautiful but in terms of usability it's more catered to noise like a table top unit rather than a guitar pedal in my opinion

I emailed dba to ask what the go was. V2 has a few cost cuts so it will be cheaper. It also has a fuzz and master volume knob instead of a fuzz toggle switch but the fuzz is not foot-switchable. Interesting I guess

Eh, footswitchable fuzz added onto my v1 will suffice then cuz I love the current fuzz circuit. I'd hope the new one isn't always on, maybe just turn down for dem cleans? I love running it clean on the wet setting into whatever fuzz i please. Master volume would be nice and lowered price will be welcome. The sexy ass screen printed enclosure will likely get downgraded tho and that's a tragedy.
