Hell yes. Never tried one of the newer ones though, maybe they're just as good?

I dunno dude. I know that PumpkinPieces had a big box one, then one of the xo's, and then he got rid of it for another big box. Unless it's the newest DMMTT which might sound just as good. But I'd heard some TGP babies whining about how the DMMTT didn't have the background noise/hiss and they actually kind of missed it haha

whoa
sally does need to lose a few pounds
right on top of my rig
my nadines delay has proven itself
it went from cheap freebie ped
to always on status
it gurgles up the low end
just right
it brobably doesnt compare to dmm or sally
but it eliminated NEED for anoter delay
WANT is a different story

Beyond a big box DMM, the Malekko E600D and Maxon AD999 sound nice and fat and wonderful.

Isn't it ironic that in 2012 ppl still can't favors the newer ones over classics? I knew from my experience myself that the old dmm is the juice of delay lust, but I'm kinda bored and wanna move on with the adventure. So.. what's your pick on modern/available delays?

I've played a few old school delays (old DMM, Boss DM-2) and honestly, I like the Deluxe Memory Boy more. I guess I'm the weirdo, but I really don't get why the old ones are considered to be so much better. The new ones have so much more versatility and options, and I don't there's much difference in sound, except that the new ones are less noisy. I guess the DMB is a tiny smidge cleaner in the repeats, but definitely not digital clean. :idk:
