Thanks Muddy,...I think the Fullcompass fan has the connector on it so it's "plug and play" essentially. A different fan would require me to do some soldering which is no big deal. Although if I get the polarity wrong,...I'll have to flip the fan around (I'm assuming) if that is possible.
Thanks for the compy advice. I'm still a noob when it comes to that stuff,...but yeah. My friend told me NOT to use a Dell power supply but didn't elaborate beyond that.
DO NOT USE ANYTHING FROM A DELL...or Gateway, HP, or any Big Box Builder. They all use their own proprietary power voltage spec (so you have to go back to them for upgrades) and will most likely fry any 3rd-party components.

And a correction to what I said earlier about not using Big Box parts; monitors are an exception, and Dell makes a few good larger-screen ones for a good price.

My son totally plays with Animoog on my iphone too! Of course, he also figured out how to move around and delete my apps too, which can be a bit of a pain in the ass.
I love that you guys have taken this thread into maturity; really something special. I think some of you may have forgotten that this is the internet. Don't post pictures of your kids.

If someone is casing my son, they already have an easy go of it. My wife has put so many goddamn pictures of him on facebook, I've lost count. Whatever, I'm not big on irrational fear and paranoia.
For the non band nerd types, trumpet players are akin to the most self absorbed of lead guitar players. Like....the "you guys are here to back me up" type. More background, there's a thing called Tuba Christmas where thousands of tubas show up and all play Christmas carols together. Very fun. I've done a few. That's like having a bunch of bass players get together to jam. A bunch of well adjusted musicians.
