Mine has to be "Money for Nothing", which came out when I was like 5 years old and that guitar tone blew my feeble kid mind. Now, I know that technically, he isn't using a fuzz pedal on that song, it's just a gnarly amp, a cocked wah and some fucked up mic'ing. But I've heard that he uses pedals to reproduce it live, and every time I've ever tried to cop that tone, the only way I could ever do it was with a fuzz and a wah.

My dad was always big into Neil Young, but before I started playing guitar I never noticed guitar sounds (I had no music taste as a kid). But then one day my dad put on Weld and fuuuuuuck everything suddenly clicked, this sound blew my mind. I've stopped trying to chase the exact sound because I realised how boring that is, but it's still the first riff I play every time I get a sufficient gnarly fuzz tone.

Yeah same for me. This was the first song that I heard that got me into playing music for sure.
