These, comfortable plus they last forever. Until you drop them on the carpet, then they just vanish.

Tried them a few months ago and never looked back! Super cool picks, hard, dynamic and last long :yay:

I used to use Dunlop Nylon .88s...but got more and more that were warped. And they get flimsier over time.

Now I roll my own out of .80 polycarbonate.

I used to play these, and they were great for plowing through chords, but didn't offer much control (because of the thinness of M-L), and wore down and cracked pretty quickly.

So I started using these, but one time I was playing and it wore down kind of strangely so that there was a notch that kept catching the strings, and I stopped using them. I don't really like the point, probably because I'm not a technical player.

These Delrin picks I've been using mostly are nice, but lately I've been missing some of the treble attack that these dull slightly (I guess because they're a softer plastic, compared to the Gels or Ultex; I don't like the sound of nylon at all). I prefer the smooth feel of these to the rougher Tortex.

I was playing one of my Ultex sharps that has worn down to a nub nicely, and I think I'll buy some of the regular shaped Ultex picks. Hmm, either .73 or 1 mm.

I cycled between these and big stubbys for a little while.

Now I just use whatever I find laying around in my buddy's garage :p

But every once in a while it's a little treat when I acquire some dunlop jazz picks. I really like how their small size helps me keep better control of my playing.

I go between the orange tortex and jazz III's. Sometimes I use a Herco flex 75, which is just like a thicker version but plays similarly to the tortex. Sometimes a purple stubby too, but not often.

And golden gate mandolin picks on bass FTW. I've converted my bass friends with it. hehe
