casiotone 401 > mini > rv-3 > bukowski delay

Post by stripes »

i just got a casiotone 401 to use on this new record that i'm recording right now, and putting it through pedals is the most glorious and inspiring thing.

here's a snippet of a track in a song that i'm currently working on.

ss/bs mini fuck (which has replaced my TAFM... i can't say enough about how great this pedal is)
boss rv-3
bukowski delay... this is currently the ONLY delay that I use and I seriously don't feel any need to get another one. GO CONTACT TRAVIS AND HAVE HIM MAKE YOU ONE NOW.

Nice :thumb: old keys through pedals is the best.

& the Mini replaced my TAFM as well. Try putting the RV-3 before the Mini sometime. Sounds so good.

I run the same kind of set up! Like this but with the Mini instead of the TAFM:

Niiiiiiiiiiice. I dig. Also, I checked your Bandcamp, Stripes - really really really really dig the stuff you've got up there!

How do you like the RV-3? I'm picking one up tomorrow, any settings you could recommend?

the rv-3 is one of my favorite pedals ever. i really only use it as a reverb, though. preset 10 is really cool. i usually crank the knobs and use it as my really big reverb then have a spring reverb before it. there's really no setting on the thing that doesn't sound good..

Thanks for the info! I'd only be using it as a reverb anyway so that's good to hear.
+1 to jrmy also, digging the bandcamp tunes.
