I'd say a nice OD since you are playing a clean amp...a timmy/tim is an excellent platform for stacking other stuff and sculpting other dirt(shoe gazer?) or to add a bit of grit to less intense passages.

I always like tremolos (catalinbread, empress) and phasers (blackout effectors, earthquaker), you could also try some filters (subdecay or moog) or ring mods (fairfield, dwarfcraft),

Oh and the GEIGER COUNTER. Crazy.

Everyone seems to be throwing out their favorite pedal ever....

so I say Blue Box. Cheap enough so you spend money on one more pedal.

i was actually going to say a Blue Box but i figured he already has or has had one.

I'd say you need some overdrive or calmer distortion because (depending on your amp) you have no middle ground in between your Shoe Gazer and your clean tonez, maybe a Singing Tree? That or a Flanger or Phaser type thing. Flanger Hoax is excellent for intense crazy noise making. If you want more droning tones grab a reverb pedal or analog delay. For reverb I'd suggest waiting for a Cathedral and for analog delay id suggest a Boss DM 2.

if i had a Microverb i think i would be less likely to want to have a Cathedral unless i was playing live, although i don't think it would be uncommon to have both.


i think a Drone Commander would be a cool thing to have. that's about $360 though...

What about the EHX Flanger Hoax? Anyone play with one?

It's an amazing pedal. Absolutely nuts. I love it. But, when the blend knob is up, it has a volume drop that is tough to overcome.

hmmm. i thought they were out. isn't a guitar place in Tennesse putting them out or something. there are rumourz of another pedal maker making one also but i don't like that dude though. he is on my "i don't like that dude" shitlist.
