This was basically the unit that was tweaked by James of Amptweaker to be the bass tightfuzz. I had already told him I wanted a bass version back in the summer when he released the regular fuzz.

He had to tweak a lot of things. It's not just the addition of a blend knob for the clean lows (the knobber on the face) but the way the tone/gain/edge all interacted.

Controls are volume, tone, gain, tight.
Switches are 60's/70's for 2 different voicings, a germanium or silicon switch, and edge/smooth switch for taming the "hair" or harshness.

It's not the highest gain fuzz by any means, but damn is it classy. I'm working on the demo which should be done by the weekend.

Also, while I can see the benefit of (mr kite) having it laid out that way--especially if you're getting your running around and Fugazi'ing it all over the place live--I think it would drive me batshit.

Yay! Didn't care much for the B3K once I got it with the rig and now I can sell it. I kind of get why people dig it, but the combo if the Monarch at 18v combined with the Hoof fuzz is just killing it for me.
