I tend to do that fairly often, I am pretty good at catching decent deals...

Ooooffff.
Just heard the CV on the Resonator is 9volt. That is a problem for the MP-201 (-5to5v or 0to5v CV).
Anybody know about CV adapters or anything?
WHy is CV so not standardized?

edit: It is a 10v CV deal. There is a DIY way to use a 9v battery and some other stuff to make a CV controller. That does not appeal to me since I have the MP-201. Checking on CV adapters now.

Are you sure about that? Never heard of 9v. And if the 201 does Not do it, you don't Need that piece of gear. At least i would say that.

@mick: do sth. with the harmony synth on octave down. That would be synthy and in the Bass register.

That is where I am leaning, I found out it is 0-10v CV so the MP-201 can't fully control it.
I think I am going to pass for now.
I am checking into a solution but adding the price of that with the Resonator...getting out of my current range I think.

I believe the 2 choices are -5 to 5v or 0 to 5v

According to this Post http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?t=499#p2590 you should have nö Problem Running the Full sweep with the 201 AND adjusting the according knobs :)

Also, if you had one, it looks like the offset control on the CP-251 would let you add or subtract 5v from any CV source, so I bet you could use that to shift the +/- 5v of the MP to the 0-10v of the Resonator. The CP-251 is awesome.

Happy to help. I love the CV... Although, reading the manual for the 201, it says that if you use the built in voltage offest within the 201 itself it will cause the LFO CV to clip beyond +/- 5v if the offset pushes it out of bounds so to speak. Not sure if there's additional voltage headroom in the CP-251 though.

Yeah I was just looking at that in the manual.
I don't have a CP-251 yet. I won't until next year sometime.

I really dig all of the possibilities the MP-201 brings to the table, opens up so many pedals...
