What about those Peavey VTX's? Anybody into those? A drummer friend I used to jam with had one and the phaser on it was quite lovely. Believe it was hybrid (ran 2 6L6's, or so). Dece OD, but that phaser...

I've had Mark III and Mark IV bass heads and now the proud owner of a Mace VT that I've chopped into a head. It destroys on both bass and guitar.

I've been playing the hell outta my Basic 60 and it RULEZZZ... I just saw a KB 60 at the Pawn Shoppe and remembered that's what I used to have back in the 90's and would run EVERYTHING through... As much as I used to dislike Peavey for various reasons is as much as I like them now for mostly the same reasons...

I just looked it up, and the bass amp I referred to was a Mark IV. Sounded killer, not that I knew what the hell was going on with all of those jacks. The tone was immaculate though.

I'm kind of pissed at myself for selling my Peavey Ranger 2X12. It was a 120 watt all tube monster. One of the reasons I'm reluctant to get rid of any of my gear. God I miss that amp! :picard:

Also a TNT 115 for $200 obo. Or a Classic 50 4x10. Craigslist. All these amps, I don't even know.

i think my friend just got one of those. i was drunk but it did seem peculiar that it had less tubes than i expected, and phaser obviously. i gotta try it. unrelated, but the chorus circuit built into my peaves classic chorus is amazing
