Typically, I use everything, interchangeably, all the time, sometimes all at once, sometimes in shuffled order, periodically in concentric loops, occasionally (though rarely) with a clean blend, and once in a very very long while with pedals disengaged (but still sitting there to look pretty).

No son, I use my pedals constantly these days.
I was reminiscing about the pre-pedal days which in reality has been WAY longer than I have been into pedals. I guess I was reminiscing because I had trouble taming a few pedals a year and a half ago and now I can get what I want out of them. I AM GROWING INTO A PEDAL MASTER!

shiiiiiiiiiit. so..... just booked a 3 day chunk at a recording spot mid-January. me and The Paul are gonna do a day each recording, one mixing. we're hoping to do 3-6 songs. i'm escited 'cause i've never spent any time in a real session, happy that we have about a month to iron out these songs that we've written 90% of over only a month or two, poo'ing myself a little 'CAUSE I'VE NEVER SPENT ANY TIME IN A REAL SESSION.

i stop and start a LOT at home before i get the take i like down. worried about my sloppiness meaning lost time whilst paying.

YAY.

Yeah. I axed the Megalith. That thing is awesome. Solo. Too much for band settings. Completely smothers all others. Just picked up a TAFM and Oxide. Some of my first fuzzes. The fuzz circle is complete.

Yeah, well, it's a little out of my price range and I'm not gonna be able to afford it even at street price for a long time, but a man can dream.

Yeah, totally. I'm just surprised because it's the first time I've ever felt serious Gibson bass GAS in... well, ever!
