Reverb Pedals Mix!

Post by synthezatory »

Are there any other reverb pedals with mix knob instead of fx level, like the ehx holy grail? I used to hate mix knob so much, but lately I love to bury my sound in the reverb. So yeah, hit it!

Dr. Scientist RRR has mix and level. Also, it rules! You can add insane amounts of verb with that combo, boosting mix and keeping volume alive with the level. Takes to fuzz/dirt like champ as well.

Doc Sci, definitely. but it does have it's own character and colours your sound, in a good way, mind you, but it mostly jangles. Even in the darker settings, mix down it does. It's a blast to have it hammer the front end of a fuzz or amp though. The level knob is awesome.
I also really love the Neunaber Wet Reverb. This one tinges the sound low, but much less so than the RRR. It can do infinite which is awesome for drenching in reverb. There is a stereo version too.

I think both Mr.Black pedals, the Supermoon and the Eterna have mix knobs. One with modulation, the other with shimmer.
What about the Subdecay Spring Theory? Edit: apparently it does, but it's labeled reverb.
I want them ALL!

Running the RRR into the WET is rodeo on the bonerosa ranch.

Hardwire Supernatural has a mix knob as well. I've had quite a few times burying everything in reverb and waking up hours later in another room I didn't recognize.

hiorgos wrote:+1 on the RRR, such a great pedal, and I don't notice any color on my guitar sounds, at all.

Does that mean you don't notice any difference between the settings either? :P

Sorry, couldn't resist. Seriously though, it is not meant to sound exactly like your clean signal, and most of the settings have more of a high ended, jangly tone. Especially the plate settings. There's nothing wrong with that. I like, I LOVE colour. Just to prevent misunderstandings - I'm not talking about the bypass that is flawless, of course.

The Muza delayverb's verb section has a mix knob but I think the delay has a volume control.
