I definitely have enough aluminum to make about 5-10 more. They tear the SHIT out of your guitar though

Recently switched from the Green Tortex .88mm after 10 years to the Ultex. They're great, feel better and don't get slick when your hands warm up. Also resilient as fuck, like, these things never wear down. I also keep moving up in thickness, settled on the 1.4mm recently though they're tapered thinner at the tip.

Oh, and they're SHARP. Never tried that jazz pick sharp style before, much preferred.

Fender Heavy. i only like the tortoise-style plastic; the white and opaque-background ones sound different. i've been using the turquoise tortoise ones because i like the color and they're easier to find on the floor. in contrast to some folks, i've been gradually reducing my pick thickness in recent years, but that's after ramping up from Fender Mediums to David Grisman signature mandolin picks over the years.

I'm still finding "my" pick, but I've been digging the V-Picks I ordered. These things are fucking amazing. The one I use most is the Ruby Red Small Ultra Lite Pointed (which sounds like a typical sharp pointed jazz):

I was really happy with my Gravity pick, but I lost it :(. I use a lot of Dunlop M3 Jazz picks, but most of them have worn down so the attack isn't the same. Since most of them are dead, I ordered some backup picks. Dunlop Pitch Black Jazz picks. I'm really liking these as well, but I find they wear slightly fast.

I have some black XL Jazz picks that I use for bass sometimes, but I've been liking the smaller picks more lately. I might end up sticking with V-Picks because they don't slip from your hands. Their Venom and Switchblade picks are insane. So sharp and the attack is so fucking beautiful.
