I just got my tax receipt. It seems that I can retrospectively justify the mad money I have dropped on gear the last couple of days! No refund, but I have to pay much less than what I had though I'd have to.

Hohhhhhhh, man...when I get my refund at the first of the new year, I will be purchasing the means for creating a second board. And I might have to break down and get a new lap steel,too...

However, my reason for posting is that I'm gonna pass my mathematical modeling class :joy:

I walked into a record store today and didn't buy anything for myself. I'm so proud.

This: I'm feeling happy and productive.

Slightly in a haze, but that kinda keeps the bad thoughts out. Might actually get a chance to practice/hang out with the originals band this weekend which would be really nice.

Still feeling great about the rest of the semester although I'm not sure I'll get my tuition payment in by the end of the semester, but due to a registration date fluke I might not ever appear on the graduation commencement flyer thing, but I don't really care. I'll tell my parents and say, "I know it might mean something to you, but it doesn't to me." I've finally started getting really honest and blunt with my parents, and that's great since I've always felt like I had to be a different person around them.

i pulled over on the shoulder
and cranked it for 20 min
my life shit the bed on me
the last two weeks
and it probly could have been
a doctor phil or oz etc infomercial
but i needed to be guided into
thinkin in my head it was gonna be ok
how im still clean i dont know
but my heads ok now
the show on black friday ripped
im tryin to bandcamp the fuck out of it
got some vids and pics
just bein able to dump my bs in the other thread
helped me stay grounded
one of the clients i lost while on the job from hell
called today and was sympathetic to the sitch
and is back on board
managed to throw a bunch of work together
to bring xmas back from the dead
takin it easy for a bit aint happenin

Nothin lame about controlled breathing/meditation, or Buddhist neighbors for that matter, dude. I'm way into all that shit, though not an official Buddhist. Glad you're doin' alright! This jernt ain't just a forum, it's a community. I've always said that, because I've always found it to be true. :)*

Bueller... Bueller...
Glad to hear you're gettin' through, man. Keep breathing, be it meditative or just plain old oxygenating.
We like you too.

Who you going to see at Hangar 18?
