you know, I was ok with this "Americana" folk revival thingy at first...but it's really starting to get on my nerves. the Avette Brothers aren't that great...the lyrics suck and the music is derivative blugrass rehashing without the soul of that genre, and what the hell is a bunch of brits (mumford and sons) doing playing music from MY country I'm going to start blasting Woodie Guthrie tunes when I drive through college campuses.
