OH- deets about the faceplate- Ebony, with the full Verellen text logo burned in the center. I figure the dark grille of my cab brings out the black in the Tolex, and then the ebony faceplate will bring out the ebony in the cab

And thanks Schnikes! I think so too. It'll match a lot better all around. From what I can tell, he burns the logos in AFTER they are stained, thus the kind of weird discolorations around the burnings. I love it.

hahaha that works!!!! I'm kinda wondering if I'm gonna need my tectonic shift anymore. I'll have both octave fuzz and big muff tones covered with the big spider and super collider. All though the big spider and super fuzz are very different sonically and i use the super collider more for a clean low/depth boost.... gah i dunno anymore

That can be arranged..... kinda want to try one of those verellen meatsmoke preamps, then i can stereo through two different preamps into 2 different heads / poweramps. Dunwich for the cleans, and the Verellen for the dirty tones. Could be sick, could be pointless

They all must be DI -> Slave or it ruins the vibe man , otherwise i could do some crazy insane sheeeeeeeeit, like 3 DI's into power amps plus 3 200w tube amps all into individual cabs....

Once they are all hooked up we'll record me just playing one chord (say an open drop A) loop with a shit ton of shimmer verb and crazy delay, with the looper set on half speed and reverse, then just play with knobs until the cameras memory runs out.
