I love shipping back to the US gear for repair: i have to go to the customs office personally and declare thousand forms for shipping it back. FUCK.

Ben got yesterday back to me. I sent the pedal out to my "local" amp and pedal doctor as Ben suggested. Hope he can fix it. There was for me nothing obviously wrong in there (loose power cable or sth. like that).
So fingers crossed that i get it back working by the end of the week or beginning of next...

I've heard about issues with Verellen amps (that weren't shipped all the way to Germany btw) but it was some of the earlier heads. Regardless, those horror stories have always held me back from Verellen. Oh, and those prices don't help either.

I have just received the Eterna shimverb a couple of days ago, just like the valve distortion I accidentally won on ebay. Clarinot and KillKill Filter are on the way or soon to be on the way.

Aside from my Verellen cab being packed with shredded paper and some cardboard and getting a few dings in it, it's solid as hell and really nicely crafted- has an engraved plate on the back with the (now wrong ) ohm rating on it. I think part of the prices being so high is I think that they get their wood work done by someone locally that isn't a part of the shop, and the wood charge is hefty. Like $90 for an amp face plate and $300 for a head shell.

The neck is earlier like a 76 or ever before that. The body seems to be legit, you can see where the previous owner painted the bass where he filled the holes in for the bridge cover. I spent an hour in the store playing it. This is bad......

How much were they selling it for? I'm still looking to sell mine but I keep getting different values from people.

hurm. bought the iphone5 when it came out, went from the 3gs to it, was a HUGE difference. very cool. but it got this problem where intermittently it thought the home key was depressed all the time, so it would launch the voice control or music or call people. went in, they replaced a connection under the home button, it was fine for a few weeks then it started doing it again once in awhile. just went in again, after explaining they gave me a brand new phone.

i hate a lot about Apple, but it is cool that they have stores with people well versed in their product to help. and that they do stuff like repairs or replacements quickly and painlessly.

still... fuck Jobs. asshole. fuck Apple. monopolistic wannabe's.
