any COLORADO peeps wanna put together noise shows?

Post by gunslinger_burrito »

Hey y'all. I play drone/doom/noise up in dang ol' Fort Collins, and would really like to play some shows elsewhere. I think there are a few of you fellow Coloradoans on here, so I thought I'd ask if you wanna play some shows. OR if you have any connections or suggestions as to where/how to do this. So many venues and spaces basically tell me that I have to watch their calendars and try and get on a bill.....but I have things to do besides browse the internet for hours at a time checking out dozens of bands I know nothing about who probably wouldn't want to play with me. Just sayin'. Thanks if any of you can or want to help with this! :hello:

This is a hair late, BUUUUUT...Rhinoceropolis does that. And they also hog all the good shows they host. :grumpy: Frustrating.

However, I'm still pushing for shows. Emailed a bunch of venues and whatnot. I've been to a handful of shows kinda recently where I definitely could've replaced the "experimental" opener. Not to talk myself up too much, but if you guys heard some of this shit... I think you'd agree. Or maybe you would want to do it.

But like you kind of alluded, D.I.Y. punks can be rather exclusive douche-bags. It's more a matter of knowing people than being good.
