Best pedal for rockabilly/texas rock

Hey, this one may seem a bit out of left field, but my wife has been making these guitar pedal ornaments for her Etsy store, and one of her customers has ordered one as a gift for her husband. She said he really likes rockabilly and texas rock, but doesn't know the names of any of his favorite pedals...

So can you guys suggest me some good choices of pedals that may be associated with these styles? I'm not aware of any pedals used in rockabilly other than Echo..any particular echo that you can think of? Like an old tape echo? And I know nothing about texas rock...are they a pretty straightforward TS808-type crowd?

Any help is appreciated, I just want to help said rockabilly fan dude get something he'd appreciate.

When I think of Rockabilly, I think of Slapback Echo.

How about a tiny little Supro amp or something? Or a Link Wray inspired amp with a pencil or a switchblade stabbed into the speaker cone? Or a Duane Eddy inspired water tank echo chamber? Poison Ivy from The Cramps definitely sounds like she's used some Superfuzz on some of that stuff. He might be into some the 60's garage classics like Fuzzrites and Tonebenders and FuzzTones and that kinda stuff too.

it was raeal good for slapback
i was never able to get my ad9s repeats
to come in loud enough
its an old beat up one though
i got this nadines delay thats perfect
at full it will actually boost the signal of the repeats
its a bare bones 3knob jam

Yeah, to me rockabilly is slap back, reverb, squashed-to-hell compression, occasional tremolo, and generous use of a whammy bar on chords.

and it oscillates abit
never really play rockabilly shit
but some times get my surf on
and it kills for that
