Is the separate octave down voice fuzzy? I think I remember hearing that the octave down was a different circuit. Also, where's the clips!? :)*

There's no clip yet.
From what I've heard if you turn the freq down... octave down is not fuzzy.

Yep, separate circuit indeed to offer smooth tracking and clean octave down capabilities was the last thing I heard...

Yup, what sylnau said.

Also, Ken relayed a buncha INFANEM info via email response earlier this year and included some Second Voice details. I've posted it somewhere but I can't find it so here it is again:

"The main things I'd like to add to the deluxe SV are a filter and a dedicated octave down that can be used in addition to the harmony. The heart of the Second Voice is a circuit made up of a PLL and two divider ICs which is much more complicated than needed for simple octave down. A dedicated, simpler circuit section for that would give better tracking and let folks get fat suboctave AND other harmonies
instead of one or the other.

Also, I intend to eliminate the rest of the circuit noise, make theblend go full wet/dry, and possibly add an external control for gate/sustain.

Further, it really depends on what I can fit in the box but I'd like
to add a jack to interface with the external Faye's Her controllers to
enable CV control of Range and filter sweeps and to individually
toggle the harmony and suboctave."

External controller for the suboctave and harmony would've been choice.
