One thing though, how does it take hot pick ups? The BBD they're using is the low voltage version everyone bitches about clipping too early... personally I think they're fine.

My pickups aren't that hot, but it sounds fine with 2 stacked fuzzes in front, really loud. No problems with headroom for me.

Nah, never played an original. I really like the EQ controls on the mini though so I don't know if I'd want to give those up with a normal size one.
