mathias wrote:vrom, the volume on the Divided Octave is good to know about. I've looked at it a few times and thought "I'll never find a reasonable Mutron Octave Divider, but I could build that thing."

If you do come up with a boost mod for the octave, be sure to document it in the DIY forum. I'm sure a ton of people would be interested.

Here's a thread I started:

The BYOC forum has this info too. I just have to do a search and dig through their posts as I'm sure others have experienced the same thing.

I've had all these for a while now, but this set up is incredible with guitar.
Using the regular Fuck as preamp kinda thing, always on.
The Mini is being used as a "low-fi" fuzz, sputtery single notes and cool riffing. This sounds orgasmic with reverb hitting it.
Cathedral for washing everything out and making noise, which its damn good at. I could talk for an hour about all the modes on this thing.
& ECT as my main riffing fuzz / feedback generator and hitting the tone blast to blow out the sound.

I was thinking about adding a delay but I don't even know if I need it. Guh. I'm a happy clam.

Huge thanks to Aen for repairing, rehousing my TGD. Love the new enclosure. I replaced the stupidly huge and non-ergonomic knobs on the SupaTrem with some extras I had lying around. No more inadvertently changing settings with my giant feet. Digging the Poly Tune Mini as well. Makes life a heck of a lot easier on stage.

Yeah, but I don't fuck with it that way. I have specific settings that I like to use, song dependent... so I usually set it to whichever one I'll need first (depending on set order), but almost every show or practice, by the time I get to that part, my feet have brushed up against those massive knobs while turning on/off another pedal, and changed the settings. Drives me crazy. I love the sound of that pedal, but the layout is not ideal for me.
