Looking for a particular fuzz tone.

Post by JMPMarshall »

I searched the forum but couldn't find anything.

I'm looking for the outro solo tone in The Smashing Pumpkins - "Untitled"

I'm preferably looking for what the pedal actually is. However if no one knows something that will get close will be fine. I have a HBE UFO and neither the Germanium or Silicon setting will accurately produce the octave set that clean.

Sounds like a Fender Blender. I'd recommend finding a clone, the actual Fender Blender's have no volume. I used to have one and if I ever were to get one again I'd get a clone with better volume.

But yeah the beginning of the solo is very Fender Blender and then half way through it sounds like he kicks on the tone boost.
