Every guy is a Super Reverb type of guy, unless you're a Vibrolux guy, one day I hope to be a Vibrolux guy.

Fucking moron cut me off today, slammed the breaks and my Bassman came flying form the back seat up to the front slammed into my dash and exploded my coffee all over my lap.
Cracked my dash, but I am more worried about my bassman head. It seems fine, and the tubes appeared fine upon inspection, will have to plug 'em up and see when I get home.

that's honestly what I thought as soon as it happened. I also never put it behind my seat for that very reason.

I don't understand my work schedule. Or lack thereof. I'm super excited to quit this nonsense job.

i make it a point to load stuff in a vehicle in a way which keeps things from being able to fly forward into the front seat...remember, Ronnie Van Zandt would have walked away from the Skynyrd plane crash without a scratch if a piece of equipment stored in the cargo hold at the rear of the plane hadn't broken loose and gone through the passenger compartment, killing him instantly with a massive head injury.

just had a delightful <sarcasm OFF> phone conversation with someone from Wells Fargo wanting money i don't have for a credit card bill. i wound up telling her that since i don't see the economy improving until the current regime is gone, i'd probably just end up shooting myself once my relatives get tired of me. FUCK MY LIFE.

Guitar playing feels stuck in a rut again. (That is, learning guitar.. a lifelong thing.)

not feeling like I'm getting any more musical, more fluid, or more understanding of the fretboard. Playing's not getting more precise or faster. Feel stuck at speed and playing stupid riffs, uninspired stuff. Not really having fun with it.

Looking at online lessons, some more advanced stuff on youtube, etc., still didn't break me out of it.

I dunno. Frustrated. HALP? :idk:

Similarly, inspiration only strikes infrequently as of late and I don't have the skills to translate what's in my head into sound. I can try to approximate it with wacky noises but they're nothing sounds, not of any real substance right now. Part of that is because nothin's been happening lately that I feel passionate about and could articulate. Plus I don't want to make music born from lame angst.
Think I'm gonna put my terrible Crate practice amp in my room, isolated from the computer, and practice/study music theory for an hour or two per day. Just knock it out and move on to the next thing for a while. I only do it in bursts right now.

Customer service of course sucks, but... WTF?

I always start out nice, and say hi.

If you ignore me, like this guy today, I'll just say hi again.

If you persist, like this guy did, in ignoring me I'll crane my neck and lean right into your field of vision inches from your face, and just stare until I'm acknowledged.

Aha, that got his attention, startled, he manages a hasty "Hello, uh..."

I nod my approval, lean back and continue, with "How are you today?"

HE says "No complaints, not that anybody ever listens when I do."

WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF FUCK YOU.

My ex just called me flipping out and crying and making threats. I only answered because I thought that if she was calling me during work then it must be an emergency.

Why can people not just be adults?
