Wolf Computer - Technical Question

Hi all. I was just wondering what kind of potentiometer is supposed to be used for the 'fuzz' control on the Wolf Computer? Maybe call me crazy but it seems like all the fuzz sound is around the 3 o'clock to 6 o'clock setting. Is this normal? I barely get any variation in fuzz from 7 o'clock up to 3 o'clock (mostly a quiet sound with hardly any variation in the fuzz texture). Could the wrong type of pot. be installed? Any help would be great!

If it is "overdriven" in those areas it's very mild. The tones basically sound the same. It is nothing like the range of tones in this demo video:

From 7 0'clock to about 3' 0'clock it all sounds the same. No variation in fuzz tone. Again nothing like the video. I am using the exact same settings. This is very frustrating because I was hoping to get a wider range of sounds from this thing.

Any help again would be great!

I think either A) it's broken or B) it has the wrong pot. installed for the 'fuzz' control.

How is it with the BIas set at 7 o'clock?

Mine seemed to be like that too, then I played around with it some more.
There is a very subtle change form 7-1:00 o'clock.

Funny at certain settings, the sound cuts off when the bias is set past4:00 o'clock.
And when the bias is set around 3:00 turning the sag counter clock wise produces crazy self osculation.

Those two seem to be very touchy.

It also reacts differently depending on how hot the pickups are and with guitar or bass.

its basically subtle ovedrive up to 12 o clock. 12-3 is variations of overdrive distortion and gets fuzz after that. its linear taper 25k. changing the taper or value (like to 10k) would give you better control over fine tuning a certain range if thats what you are after

Thanks for the replies. I'll try and get some sound clips up ASAP so y'all can hear what it sounds like. I understand that there are a lot of different factors at play. It just doesn't sound as versatile as what is in the You Tube clip.

Don't get me wrong. I absolutely love my Wolf. I am just disappointed that I can't get the range of fuzz sounds that the video has. Once again, I'll try and record some samples ASAP!

I've just been keeping the fuzz cranked. It works for me. That's the tone I like the best anyways!
