Thanks. I love the concept of DBA pedals and they sound awesome on paper but the demos seem like crap online and no one carries them around here. I guess I need to pull the trigger and give it a try and just flip it if it does not work out. I had a Fuzz War, which I loved, but lost in a trade that I do not regret. I might get another at some point. Now I wish I would have tried it on the bass before I got rid of it. I also found some schematics for the Armageddon and hope to build it at some point.

I really love the HT on bass it's one of my favorite bass fuzzes. I got mine used cause that $300 price tag is ridiculous. here's a link for a clone http://www.ebay.com/itm/251169951974?ss ... 1423.l2649

I will check that out tonight. I know I have the schematics for the HT and maybe I will attempt to build one. I think Mark has a Vero layout for it also. Hmmm

Dion's live setup is
RV-5 ---> Some Boss Pedal (chorus I think)--->interstellar Overdriver--->Custom DBA bass fuzz---> Sansamp Bass DI---> custom amp.
as far as midrangy fuzzy OD. I'd go with something like a Blackout Mantra or the Interstellar overdriver. Both work well. in my experience

Haha nicly done sir. Their exploding head album actully has some great simple baselines. But the wall of fuzzy goodness does mask it some.
