It's been a minute for me.

Megalith inspired the shit out of me. Other than that...not much lately.

Agreed, this is kindof my requirement of every pedal I get. The last one that really felt inspiring though was the mini fuck. Running it after my dmmtt550 resulted in an epicly crippling mindgasm.

edit:
I guess I should say every pedal I keep. If it doesn't work with what I'm using or inspire me I ship it off to somebody else.

ehhhh, I don't know about every pedal

sometimes you get something that is pretty disappointing, or doesn't work with your setup
I know pedals you keep should be inspiring, but sometimes you try something and as nice as it is there's just no flow

In the late 90's it was my DOD Thrash Master, recently it was the El Cap.

I just keep finding things with my Strymon Timeline and my Stereo Wet that I get lost in. I love it.

Does a pignose count? I've been running my pignose into other amps and stuff and it's been a lot of fun.

I never lost The Fun or the inspiration somehow...
But the second voice brought a whole new aspect of playing and creating songs to me.
And my personal reincarnation of The lexicon jamman with midi connection: finally hardware lets me do what i had in mind.

Yeah, but some more than others, and I never really get bored of playing, just kind of stuck in a rut and not writing. The latest ones that really changed things were the mini Fuck and TC hall of fame. First time I plugged in just those two I wrote like 3 songs back to back, and I'm still loving them a month or two later!

The TAFM did this in a major way when I got it too, beforehand I didn't really have any fuzz, and definitely no super heavy fuzz, so it started my whole love of fuzz and changed my playing too.
