Well, I just got it last night. Haven't played it since I tried it out in the store last week. It sounded great there but hasn't got the full test-run with pedals and everything into the 2x15 just yet. Got a gig tonight and I'm taking a smaller (still 2x15, but with the Thunderbass) amp so I won't have much time for it until tomorrow. Also it blew a fuse when I turned it on at home so I need to pick up a few of those and call the shop about it.

Otherwise this thing is the cleanest looking 40 year old amp I've ever seen.

Oh most definitely. Especially in the state that I've seen most Sound City amps. Looks like its barely been touched!

I have a sound city 100 for the guitar and it is the cleanest amp i've heard.
Works so well with pedals.
I hope its not the output transfo that makes the fuse blow!!
It happened to me with a marshall.....:(

No the fuse is the 5amp one on the input. Hopefully the power transformer isn't bad either. I'm not sure what could be different from last week though. And the voltage selector on these things is weird.

:thumb: good idea.
But alcohol only once a week. So next week... Downside: the alcohol gas attacks are pretty random - very small chance that i may hit garmut next week :idk:

I really shouldn't have, but I did...

Thankfully I'm moving a couple pedals out this weekend so I don't feel so guilty.
