Just put this together to help show what I mean - it's not a prototype....

Apart from Lovetone, has anyone thought about doing a CV based modular pedal system? Seems to make sense to have LFOs you can route to anything plus a triggered envelope and an envelope follower that can likewise be sent to control anything.

i did this with the tap tempo tremolo and the meatball from musicpcb.com
