Nix on the Pumpkin Butter.

My track record is not good on this one, probably not what you're looking for, but I wanna try one of these:

I recently built a few straight Harmonic Energizer clones and was pleasantly surprised by the interest, both on ebay and guitar forums. This is my improved version. In addition to being a clone of the original Harmonic Energizer, it also features a switchable fuzz circuit, closely modelled on the 70s IC Muff Fuzz, and an expression pedal input.

I rock a MadeByMike op-amp muff, and I love it so much, I consider myself done with buying muffs forever. It is everything I ever wanted (and wished) a muff to be.

MadeByMike stuff is always good. Take a look at the Pumpkin Butter for some ILF love and see if it tickles your fancy?

AFAIK none of Devi's pedals is based on a Muff circuit, but the Hyperion was supposed to come close in sound. Others can certainly do the mids-scooped super-compressed fuzz sound to various degrees.

I've had quite a few Devi fuzzes, and while they do sound huge through a nice big amp, they were kind of lacking for range of sounds (one pedal made one sound, it seemed) and for dynamics.. almost all of them completely destroyed dynamics in playing because it was so compressed.
