Fender Super Reverb Reissue

Post by Almonds »

Anybody have any experience with one? I am hoping to score one of these soon.
It's between this and a Deville 410 which would be cheaper but maybe not quite as cool.

Dunno about the RI, but super reverbs are awesome. Way better than a deville.

I guess my question is...would you pay twice as much for a super reverb?

In a heartbeat.

GC has the SR RI for $1,550 and the HRD for $950. I think the extra $600 would be money well spent.

Plus if you can get one second hand....

..which is to say, some people like the devilles, and some cool bands use them, but they're not great sounding amps, and their breakup is BAD and hurty.

I think devilles are "darker" sounding. Supers can get too ice-picky
