It's the shipping. Basically comes over on the slow boat from China, which is why the shipping charge is like nothing.
My Pitchbox up and stopped working tonight, but I unplugged it from my OneSpot and gave it it's own 9v, and everything was fine. Guess I have too much draw on the OneSpot.
Pitchbox is definitely digital. Probably draws quite a bit.
Can't wait for my stuff to come. Trying to be patient...

This is the easiest to be patient waiting for a pedal I've ever felt, probably because I was never really that psyched about the pedal itself, just psyched about how cheap it was... This might have been a stupid purchase.
at the time i ordered mine i thought that there was no point in spending the extra £1.61 for tracking, it wouldnt make it arrive any quicker so why bother?
but now i think, it was only £1.61 ....

I paid $2.50 for tracking - it wasn't really worth it.

Yeah. I paid for the tracking as well. But it's for USPS Postalforce (wtf?) and it won't even start really tracking the package until it hits US soil. And trying to use the tracking number just throws exceptions on Fara, which I use to track everything else (and it works great for everything else, you should try it!)
At least the stuff that we occasionally get from Apple at work shows up immediately as being somewhere in China, and we get a reasonable estimate of delivery.

captions87 wrote:May have found an even better deal. If you go to wtfaccessories.com, they have most of the mooer pedals, included the new blue comp and pure octaves. When you click on a pedal to see further info, at the bottom of the descriptions, there's a list of coupon codes for different pedal companies (joyo, mooer, moen, etc.). If you enter wtfmooer after adding any mooer pedals to your cart, it'll take 50 bucks off each one. Just bought a trelicopter for 44 bucks. Would've bought a pure octave if I hadn't already bought it for 80 on dhgate.com, which I thought was really a deal.
Just chiming in to say the Pure Octave and Reecho that I ordered from wtfaccessories on Halloween came in today - can't wait to get home and try them out!
Are both deals still going? Waiting for the Micro ABY to be on one of those sites.

Yeah this is kinda how I feel about it. Mine showed up today in a rather inauspicious envelop, and I thought, "why the fuck would anybody in China be sending me anything?"
But 'twas the shimverb and now I'm undecided on reverb altogether as an effect
I keep reading the shimverb (especially the shimmer) is terrible, but I ordered one regardless. If the shimmer is in fifths, I think adding it to a Pitch Box and a Pure Octave could make some huge chords out of single notes. It'd probably sound really weird and digital, but I can dig that.
Yeah man. Work around constraints and play chords or single note runs that work in fifths.
I'll probably put my shimverb on my pt-nano in place of the cheap Behringer Digital Reverb that's on there the pitch factor is definitely getting a spot on the big board, if I like it.
And I'm gonna see whether the Triangle Buff (muff clone) is surface mount or not. I'm hoping not, because then I can mod it. Otherwise, if it's not much better than my many other boutique fuzzes, I'll just flip it.

It's surface mount. They aren't going to mess around with thru-hole in a pedal that small.
