oh man... those vintage hohner melodicas are so beautiful. i want to get one and rig up a tube so you can play it flat as well.

My neighbor just this week got one of these off the bay for cheap... Has the lil case and is like new...
My other neighbor (we live in fourplexes so there are a lot of neighbors) just brought one back from her childhood home this summer that is the exact same...
I guess I need to go get one so I can fit in too, or we could start a Meldoica Trio...

the button melodicas are the "student model"; i used to have one in the 1970s. i think they're actually easier to play than the piano-key versions.

Well I recorded a thing with, y'know, an actual melody and such but Audacity ate it after I tried switching the sound output.
