There's quite a few ideas I had for how we could go about this, last years was pretty fair but maybe we can mix it up and keep it just as fair.

We could do the board size competition:

Cat 1: 1-4 pedals
Cat 2: 5-8 pedals
Cat 3: 9-12 pedals
Cat 4: 13-99999999999 pedals

or we could do board type categories:

Cat 1: All vintage board
Cat 2: All mass production board
Cat 3: All Boutique Board
Cat 4: All DIY board

or we could do it this way which is the one i would vote for:

Cat 1: Best Guitar Dirt Board
Cat 2: Best Guitar Modulation Board
Cat 3: Best Guitar Ambience Board
Cat 4: Best Bass Dirt Board
Cat 5: Best Bass Modulation Board
Cat 6: Best Bass Ambience Board

Then we can split it to have a guitar fuzz master general and a bass fuzz master general.

Since it's a board centered contest I think the only way we could do something like that would be a Full Rig Category. But hey this is a democracy its whatever the people want!
