hey dudes
just got a dod fx75-b stereo flanger
its somewhat of a mess and thats kinda why i took it
a friend of mine gave it to me so its just a project
whether it sounds good or not is irrelevant
so the first issue is that it needs a 10v power supply as of now
its the small jack
can i swap that out for a boss type jack?
can i swap the battery clips out for a jack?
or do i need to get the battery clip adapter?
im not worried about which one requires more work
as i want to get some modding exp.points

Easiest way would be to just cut the battery clip and solder it to a DC jack. (that's if you don't plan on using batteries). Just remember the black wire goes to the tip and red to the sleeve/shield and it should all go.

start with patch cables
nice big chunks o metal
and plenty time before things get destroyed
it really does suck so
i think im gonna open it up
and try stuff out with it
maybe rehouse a behringer into it........zingggg

Hey, I just picked one of these up this afternoon. I've only played around with it a little bit, but have been enjoying it. I guess it depends on what sound you may be looking for.
There are 3 trim pots on the inside, which change the sound drastically. So you may want to tweak those. I haven't touched those yet, but I did stick it in a feedback loop (with momentary switch) and got some nice noise out of that.
Also, there's some "suggestions" in the manual: ftp://ftp.dod.com/pub/PDFs/Discontinued/FX72.pdf
