I will pre order Deluxe without hesitation. Must sell a couple things I have just laying about, asap!

My v1 sported a fairly loud pop, carrier noise, and a volume control with minimal taper but it sounded so bitchin! My v2 didn't give me any shit at all, very well behaved, some slight carrier noise but not overpowering and easy to dial out or let it ride along in the background. Still, comforting to hear Ken officially resolved those aspects and they won't be appearing in updated/upgraded offerings.

Should calm my Harmony Synth GAS as well.

This look like a dream come true.
Will the sub be similar to a Boss OC-2... or it's synthy all the times?

Deluxe upgrades include:
-Voltage controlled 12dB/oct resonant lowpass filters replace the standard SV's 6dB/oct passive LPFs. CV/Exp jacks are provided for control of each filter's frequency.
-Two extra footswitches allow the suboctave and harmony to be individually muted/activated for quick tone changes.

Sweet mother of....Awesome.

Seriously. All the CVs. Makes me want the Deluxe... and a modular synth rack. Or at least another expressionator :animal:

Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure the Second Voice tracks a lot better.
This message is most likely very old, so things said here probably don't apply to the current state of all things devi ever. As always, you can visit www.deviever.com for the latest on devi ever related projects.

Will it do non synthy stuff? Like regular analog octave down.

Yeah, that would rule if it could get into OC-2 territory. I do know the sub portion was made into a separate circuit for improved tracking, perhaps the deluxe can achieve it by switching off the harmony section and going pure suboctave?

Kenfanem?? :hello:

Agreed. Haven't heard much good about the Mooer octave thus far beyond it's low price....

Ken just replied my email:

KenFANEM wrote:With the filter turned way down, you will indeed be able to get that
dark, soft, OC-2 kind of sound. The fuzz and harmony also smooth out
very pleasantly at low filter settings. Of course, all three can get
bright squarewave angry as well so there's plenty of range and a lot
of possibility when mixing voices with different filter settings.

Do you know if his reply was in the context of the Deluxe or the regular one? Both can probably do what he says, but the way the filter sounds will be different for sure.

Man I am getting excited for the Deluxe and have no idea how I am going to fit it into my setup.
