I don't know; something with a low-mid center, uncompressed, no fizz, generates concern over speaker damage, tectonic shifts, rifts in spacetime, etc..

Yeah, I have to say the Mini (fuck) with the gain cranked is sounding like a decent candidate for this search, especially with some other dirt to help it out possibly.

Re: Heavy Bass Distortion
Thanks!
I tried the Elements with the TFR into (and out of) it, didn't get me where I wanted to go. Though it was nice.
Excane, I've been listening to your demos lately; yeah, lots of options. Makes my head swim!
The MK Megalith is certainly on my radar, just have to gather the funds to try one out. From the demos I've seen/heard, I'm concerned it may be too fizzy for what I'm going for though.
Certainly parallel blending several distortion effects is the answer. More experimentation are due, for sure.

Really though, Fuck with all the knobs cranked ruuuuuules. And if it gets too fizzy or bright, there's the hi-cut knob. And the crackle really makes it sound like everyone is gonna die.

My first thought is D*A*M Ezekiel 25:17 or a clone.
D*A*M stuff is always the best.

dod Death metal pedal into bass was fucking silly fun. metal muffs are actually pretty boss on bass also.

I've seen a couple of people recommend the DOD Death Pedal but to me it loses too much low end. I may have to dig it back out and try it again as it's been a while and I probably didn't run it enough and at volume....
I'm a huge fan of The Elements... I need to try some MK stuff though.

Re: Heavy Bass Distortion
Thanks everyone! I'll take a look into all your suggestions, here and over at TB.
I'm up to my a-hole in school MFA paper writing right now (apparently the true essence of higher education), and my fun time looking into all these effects has been taken over, lame.
I'll play around more with what I've got too, this week. And try to find time to report what I've discovered. ugh, school...
Gonna take a closer look into that MI Audio Megalith too, certainly under my radar, till now.

my digitech death metal has an obscene amount of bass. it sounds awesome, but maybe a little too messy sounding.
